What's Your LinkedIn IQ?
There are no right or wrong answers.
1. You have a clear understanding of your personal brand - what's authentic to you, what differentiates you from your peers and what makes you compelling to decision-makers.
Well, duh!
Sort of.
What's a personal brand?
2. You know what your short and long-term career goals are?
They're written down.
I'm pretty clear about them.
Ain't nobody got time for that.
3. You know your top strengths - the things you currently do better than anyone else.
Absolutely!
I did back in the day.
I let my work speak for itself.
4. You have a compelling brand bio that reflects who you are - not just what you've done.

7. Your LinkedIn headline uses most or all of the 120 characters, it includes keywords and it’s interesting to people who are making decisions about you.
Yes, it oozes my brand.

It's just the default setting of my job title.
8. Your LinkedIn Summary tells the reader what you have accomplished, what you're passionate about and what your POV (point of view) is.
Yes. It's spot on.
It could be more compelling.
Yikes! I left it blank.
9. Your specialties - all the keywords for which you want to be known - appear at least once in your Summary.
All of them.
Some of them.
The people who visit my profile are smart. They’ll figure it out.
10. Your LinkedIn Experience sections are complete with detailed descriptions, including keywords related to your area of expertise.
For sure!
They could be better.
I only list my job titles.
11. Your LinkedIn Experience includes your employer's approved logo.
Yes, it does.
No, but I used their name.
Why would I add my employer’s logo when it’s my personal brand?
12. You have embedded images, documents and/or videos into your Summary and Experience sections.
I sure have.
I have included some.
Videos of my cat? Everyone loves my cat.
13. Your top ten Skills (Endorsements) appear in your profile in order of importance to your brand.
100%!
Mostly.
I was endorsed for ping pong.
14. You have Recommendations from respected leaders/managers that highlight your strengths.
I have at least 10.
I have a handful.
I’ve given a ton, but never received a recommendation.
15. You have 500+ connections.
More than that!
Getting close.
Holy cow, I’m nowhere close to 500.
16. You accept most connection requests you receive.
Always.
I'm more selective.
To my knowledge, I’ve never received a connection request.
17. Your groups include a mix of alumni groups, local (geographic), thoughtleadership/industry, philanthropic, and passions/interests.
My group portfolio is very diverse.
